Remington 541T Advice

I bought a 541T in the early 90's and took it squirrel hunting a few times but it got really expensive as the magazine (clip) had this little dingleberry release that caught on everything. Everytime I got back to the truck the magazine was gone! And the cost of replacement was high even then. So I sold the POS. Great for the bench and it shot lights out but I wanted a rifle to carry squirrel hunting. With a few drinks in me I might give $100 for one, if and only if, it came with a dozen magazines. ;)

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. The only thing I can say bad about the magazine being plastic but the 5 rounders worked great. My sako P94s has a polymer magazine, cz rifles have polymer magazines, they all do what they are supposed to do. A new magazine release would of probably fixed the problem. I have a few Remington 541 series rifles in house only have sold one because the accuracy was not there compared to the other ones that I have shot. Will hang on to the ones I have now till I cannot see thru the scope anymore.
