REMINGTON 40 XBR 222

I'm not sure if anyone looks at the Armslist site, some one in Florida has a 40 xbr in 222 w/a T36 scope on it for sale $550. I can't believe that's for real?
 
I've always thought I did good to get my 40 XBR, 22 BR with a Leupold 24X for $700.

This one you're talking about sounds like a smoking deal, -- or toooo good. jd

If I lived in Florida, I'd have to take a ride and see if it was real, but I'm in PA and that's a little to far to drive.
 
I was curious, so had to go looking for this incredible deal...

As the cable TV hawkers say.... "But WAIT! There's MORE!!" :eek: :p

Not only is this a Rem 40-XBR, but it comes with an HS Precision barrel, a Weaver T36 in Talleys.....AND.... it ALSO includes a new Jewell trigger!

All for the unbelievable low price of just $550.

(And it's been listed for a mere 21 days, so maybe it isn't really that good of a deal, since apparently nobody has bought it yet..... :rolleyes: )

I live in west palm bch area , if he's near I could check it out for you .
A lot of old bench shooters moved down here from the north east and either pass or realize they can no longer shoot and sell pretty cheap .
But be careful a lot of scammers also .
 
First , the rifle pictured is NOT a XBR its a Xb at least it's in a 40 Xb stock .
And hoping it stays zeroed while , really . I guess that means no face to face .

That would be great, I sent him a message he has yet to reply.
 
The plot thickens:
I sent the guy a message and told him I have a friend in FL that would be willing to look at the rifle for me, I asked where he lived. Guess what he just moved to OK. Hmmmm
 
I`ve heard that about armslist too.....

It`s a shame really, we need more reliable resources to buy / sell our wares, not less.......

It really needs to be called scamlist...you have to sift through all the BS to actually find legitimate sales...not my cup of tea
