Remembering Sid

It's hard to believe but 3 years ago today one of the finest persons that I ever met, Sid Goodling passed away on this date in 2019. Sid was one of a kind. There's not enough words that could be said to even begin to describe what a great person that he was and not only that Sid was one of the finest gunsmith's on this planet. I'm sure that there are a lot of people on this site who knew him and know what I'm talking about. I never heard one single person ever say anytime negative about him. He would drop what he was doing if you had a problem no matter if he was at his shop or at the range. I will always cherish the dozens of rifles that I own that he built or even just worked on and I miss stopping over his shop when I use to travel to a shoot down south and spending time just bullshitting with him. I know your in a better place Sid and if I'm lucky when I'm on the wrong side of the dirt I can see you once again. I love you brother and so does everyone who had the pleasure of meeting you. YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

For those who did not know Sid, here is a picture taken at the SS about 10 years ago. He is with Greg King and they are showing off their beautiful rifles.
