Remage Style Nut Barrel for Bergara B14??

I would think it's very possible, I'm having a nut job for a defiance action it's a coned bolt...at Bugholes

Preferred Barrels offers the B14 nut barrels.

A lot of barrel makers don't want to screw with it because of the cone bolt head. I did talk to Preferred and they will make one. BTW early Bergara have barrel nut, later ones don't. I assume they went to a shouldered barrel later. I had a problem with headspace and this was discussed in my thread.

It's metric. I know of no nut for that thread. But it might be out there.

I was hoping you could do it, I've been wanting to try one of your barrels, and I like your prices. There's no hurry in any case.

Preferred Barrels does list Bergara as one of their standard pre-fits. jd

My Remington prefit fits that one. And it takes a Remage barrel nut.

I don't know where you got metric from, but every Bergara B14 I've ever seen is 1-1/16"x16tpi. Not a lot of confidence as a barrel manufacturer.

So let me get this straight, I'm supposed to have all the actions out there in the world memorized? Heck man, there must be a couple hundred. There are all kinds of variations within each brand. I go out of my way to research the tenon specs and provide answers best I can. I have a whole bunch of tenon prints if someone asked. There has been lots of confusion about Bergera.

You have some problem with me. I sent you a PM and asked you why, you didn't answer. But you keep making negative comments about me and my business on the forum. That's seems pretty shady to me.

Anyone that calls and asks me about a barrel gets their question answered. Like always. I always seem to get the right barrel to the customer.
