Probably going to give the boys up on Sparks NV at Ragged Hole Barrels a call.
The Bug Nut looks like the cleanest barrel nut also.

On my 260AI i have a Pac Nor Pacnut which I like much better than the standard savage style nut, although its not quite as clean looking as the bug nut, system

What stock is that? How large is the nut? I was wondering how much inletting has to be done to fit the nut.

I had the same question when I did my first one. It is an HS Precision stock with the inlet for the varmint contour Remington barrel. I didn't have to inlet ANY. Just dropped it in. Same for this one.

I did. Since I wanted a prefit system and a single point cut barrel, I just went to SPR and Greg took care of me. The only challenge was a way to hold the recoil lug, so I went to Northland since I needed an action wrench and went with their system and lug.

Funny I found this thread as I just ordered a Shilen alternut barrel for a Howa action via northland. It's my first 6BR so I thought I would gain some experience loading for that caliber before getting to crazy with a custom action and the fact starting off with a new caliber is hard on the wallet just in dies and brass.

I bet you'll get 1/2 MOA groups or less. I've had barrel nuts on a couple different actions/barrels. All shot, from prone with a sling, to 1/2 MOA. I'm sure that some of that 1/2 MOA was simply my hold/shot release.

I went with the Remington Varmint contour. On my first one, I expected to have to relieve for the bugnut, but I didn't have to.
