I just got one of these SPS varmints with the x-mark, how do you adjust that anyways, isnt it supposed to be internally adjustable?

I took mine right down to 2 lbs with no problem. Only adjusted the weight screw, the trigger was still crisp with no creep after adjustment.

I did find that putting my barreled action into an H&S Precision stock required minor removal of material from the safety side of the stock as it seems slightly wider than the older style Remington triggers. Very minor work and works great. My rifle is a 700 SPS Tactical in 223. The Hogue stocks are pretty flimsy and cheap. The H&S is a vast improvement.
