Rem. Model seven love

Toilet paper..that one I dont understand..if you cant breathe due to covid-19 lung infection..you better be a hell of a lot more worried about saving your ass instead of wiping it....
Some stubborn people full of pride who may be unable to say they need help because..after all..that happens to other people not us..
Lose the pride get humble if you think you may be sick..speak up..you cant save your face and your ass at the same time..
One of the best suggestions ever given to me..not that I'm sick ..but it applies in many areas of life.

Here is my two...7mm-08.JPG
This one is a 7mm-08 and it has a 1-in-8 polygonal Pac-Nor #1 contour barrel. It also has the H-S Precision stock and a Calvin Elite trigger and a Vortex Razor scope. This is the most accurate light contour or "mountain rifle" barrel I have ever seen.
223 M7.JPG
This one is a 223 and has a Muller Barrel Works #3 with a Calvin Elite trigger and custom Claro walnut stock {which I have yet to checker}. It also has a Vortex Razor scope and is one of the most accurate rifles I have ever owned. It may never get checkered though...I like to shoot it too much!!!

What optic model is that.. I must say if I was a relative of yours ..I'd poison tour coffee to get my hands on that 223...hahaha..beautiful beautiful pc of workmanship..that to me is how a rifle should look..I'm guilty of all the other b.s...bling on my guns..but not any more..I want simplicity and accuracy consistency in my gun..my shoulders wont take the magnum abuse any more..
I want to practice just slowing down....I dont need a Magnum or 20 shots for what I'm doing..
I just need to learn when the adrenaline is pumping and my heart is in my throat with excitement..to slllooowww it down and get that shot off correctly the first time..been alot of years I dont even know if I still got it or I'm capable ..I've really learn to value the magic of life..for it is short for every living thing....even shorter for you little varmints ..it so satisfying to see the red mist..what a rush...see just talking about it ..is exciting to me..what is happening to me..will my ear hair start growing faster them the hair on my head..is it time for the red plaid hunting hat with ear flaps for me..

Thank you sir for the very nice compliments, it is greatly appreciated. The scope is a Vortex Razor LH, which I believe is now discontinued. They made them for a few years and it is my understanding that it was dropped some time ago. I like the reticle, it has a small dot that allows for a good hold on the exact same spot if you are trying to shoot groups and see how accurate the rifle is. They made two models and the difference was the magnification. If I remember right they made two different reticles too. I think one was a 2.5-10X and the other is 4.5-15X. You can still find them used on occasion and they are not real expensive scopes. I bought the lower powered one on sale for $550 and I think I got the higher powered one for just under $700.

You’re the man! I had a 17 fireball in a 700 when they first came out. It was a pos and after never being able to get it to shoot, I pulled the barrel and turned it into a 204 ruger. I recently picked up a model 7 action from PT&G and am going to build the same. I like the 17 fireball round as a concept so I’ll have a walking varminter in one here shortly.

Is that a McMillan stock?

This was an original 17FB like yours and it shot OK but not great. Went to a Lilja and it was a shooter. I sold it cheap and the buyer had it set back. He PMed me that it came back to life and was a laser. The best shooting bullets were the Kindler Golds and Nagels behind a stout load of 133. The stock is a B&C. IIRC, that due to differences between an original 17FB action and a standard small bolt, they command a small premium.

I've been working on this for a while and it's finally come together. It's not short or lightweight though.

Rem Seven receiver
PTG bolt
PTG DBM (whittled on heavily)
Jewell trigger
26" Krieger barrel 1:7
NF 5-25x56 scope/20MOA rail
Warne MT 34mm rings.
Boyds ProVarmint pillared and bedded.
Chambered in .223 WSSM gently running 88ELDs at 3050fps. Still working on a load, but it's sub MOA to 965 yards so far. I've got 95SMKs up to 3250 but they're not making it to the target.
