I've owned a bunch of 788's. I have one in 222 right now. Never had a bolt handle issue with any of them although I have read about it, just never seen it. I did have a 22-250 that didn't like hot loads. It would get a stiff bolt lift with the hot loads. I just have all the 6mm's I need right now or I'd be a player. This looks like a nice rifle, I'm a little shocked its still here.
