The Hodgdon data center has quite a few loads for the 6mm-250.

Do you know which version you have, or do you know the water volume?

There are several versions of the 6mm-International, that run from 43gr to 46grs of water.

I didn't know there were different versions. I use the 250 savage case necked down, if that distinguishes anything.

They all do - some measurements would help... base to shoulder/body junction - base to neck/shoulder junction... neck length... and the weight of water that fills the case (weigh the fired case - fill it with water and weigh it, subtract the first number from the second).

While water volume is improtant in comparing chambers, the fact is that throat, different cases, the bbl, etc. all have an effect on the loads, just to mention a few of the variables.

I would not get hung up on water volume, take the published loads, start low, and ladder up watching for pressure signs - case water volume will vary with different brass in the same chamber, so start with the loads published and work up. your gun is the one that will tell you what it likes.

Thanks for the info. I will work up some loads and see how they do. Reading on Rem's website, 722 did not come in the 6mm int.
