REM 721 question

Did REM 721s come with a magazine box? Working on a 721 with a hinged floorplate and having feeding problems. Seems like the follower has a lot of play and I have to load each round just right or the follower will slant downwards and then will not feed.

Try adjustingn the spring, to keep the nose of the bullet upward?

Make sure the spring is in the proper position and is pushing the front of the follower up, with more pressure than on the rear of the follower.

Thanks guys. A fella on another forum said that on a 722 you have to put the magazine in the stock and everything will line up when the rifle is put together. Dang! He was right!
