Rem 700 Matt Finish Recoil Lug

I'm using a Rem 700 matt finish action in a build but don't have a matching recoil lug.

Are the lugs used with these actions also matt finished ? If so, I'm looking for one.

If anybody can part with one. please let me know.

The factory lugs are junk. Get a good stainless one and be done. I like hollands lugs.

Yes the factory lugs are bead blasted finish to match the action. You can get one probably off ebay and have it surface ground if you wish.

Hey buddy, I've never seen a factory lug that is junk. A little trip on my surface grinder and they are as good as a Holland.
