Just got a Talley 20 moa picatinny mount for my new rifle build. When checking the mount's fit found the screw holes in the base don't align properly with the holes in the receiver. The distance between the front and rear pair is too long. So much so you can't screw in both the front and rear screws at the same time. It's either the front or rear but not both.
Anybody know the factory spec distance measurements for the screw holes on the Rem 700 LA? Want to check which is out of spec the receiver or the mount.
