rem. 700 for Fclass

It seems like many people don't like them much for f class. My tube gun is mainly for ground hogs and I shoot it from the bipod/prone all the time, I really like it and think it fits me well. But also I don't have any f class oriented stocks to compare it to.

Tube guns can do very well in F-Class. Whatever chassis/stock you chose for either F-T/R or F-Open, you still need to have a good rest/bag set up and gun handling so the gun tracks the same every time. I've seen this done with both conventional stocks and tube guns.
I don't have a tube gun but I think they have a lot of potential because they can be set up so that the axis of the bore goes straight back into your shoulder and the gun recoils in more of a straight line. If you have one that fits you and you are comfortable shooting it, I would spend the time getting the front rest (bipod or whatever) and rear bag set up so it works. It just take some time and experience to get it right. I am still tinkering with my set up after a lot of years.
