Rem 700 floor plate conversion to clip???

Texas

Silver $$ Contributor
I have used the Kwik Klip on a couple custom builds. These were WSM cases that didn’t feed properly in a facorty Remington 700 stagger box magazine. I tried these which have a single stack clip and they work well. I’m wondering if anyone else makes a conversion kit like this? I want the bottom to be flush with stock and still have the appearance of a normal hinged floor plate.
Anything besides Kwik Klip available?
Thanks

HS Precision is no longer flush, it hangs down almost an inch........... juuust enough to make the whole assembly roll gently out of your hand to land in the scree on the hillside and go clattering off down the mountain, permanently scarring your fine rifle, bending the scope and dinging your crown....

I can't WAIT for this tacticool "hanging scrotum" phase to be over. I buy one of every set of bottom metal that comes out and there isn't currently a nice flush setup being made..... PLEASE SOMEBODY PROVE ME WRONG!!!!!

Yeahhh, and the Kwik Klip. I keep ordering them. I run them over the beld sander or sand blast them and paint them because THEY LOOK LIKE DUNG!!

I guess I should have bought a few extra when I had the chance (and when they were less expensive than they seem to be now). Kidnap-style photo for proof. :)

I looked at a few mentioned in this thread. Probably good products but not actually a true flush fit. I want some,thing like the Kwik Klip that resembles a normal hinged floor plate. Guess I’ll have to keep searching.

@alinwa

I can’t really think of anything more handy than a detachable magazine.... It’s not going anywhere.

But, if you must.... I believe accurate ordnance will make you a flush fit. Or was it SAC?

Or, you can just order it from here and have it in 3 days....

I hope you're right..... I'll be calling Monday because I just MADE MY OWN about 3mo ago because they were NOT available in WSM.

OP ain't about 308 stuff...... 308 is easy.

I hate mags that hang down too, thats right where I carry the rifle. If all your after is the center feed, wyatts makes an internal box centerfeed. I use them often with a bdl floorplate. The HS dbm is nice. The ones I have used only hang down 1/4" but I have only used the 308, 22-250 and magnum l/a, not s/a mags. I really like the wsm or saum in a l/a with hs dbm
