I possibly need a new extractor, Midway and Brownells is out if stock.

Does anyone know who has these available for magnum bolt face?

Well thanks guys. I've spent at least 4 hours calling and web searching.

Anyone recommend someone who can install a M16 extractor?

Thanks for the endorsement. I'll be glad to help but I never mind people sending work elsewhere, so long as they get good work done. Gretan, LRI, Red Hawk all do good work. I've got plenty of time right now but I can't say that I need the work. thanks, Jerry

At my wits end last night I managed to push the extractor with a small rat tail file enough to get a pick behind the spring and restore its shape.

I installed a Remage barrel last week and evidently the headspace gauge collapsed the extractor onto the bolt edge. I guess.

Nevertheless I ran 20 rounds today. 100% restored, kicks out at 3:00.

I believe I found extractors but we'll see.

The fuss is that I've been trying to fire form a buch of brass ( new project). My new 300wsm Carbon six barrel will be here in a couple of weeks. If I have any more problems I will send it to get an m16 extractor immediately.
