Rem 700 different feed ramps .221 FB vs. .17 FB

I have a Rem 700 Classic in .221 FB and a Rem 700 SPS Varmint in .17 FB. They are the only FB calibers I have owned. At some time in the future, I was thinking of using the SPS for a custom build in 20 Vartarg. I began looking at both of the receivers and noticed they each have a different feed ramp. I was aware of the difference in the bolt face configuration between the FB's and a .223, but had no idea that the 2 FB's have different ramps. Would the dual feed ramp be better or worse for the 20 VT?

The first 2 pics are the SPS Varmint .17 FB.

What diff in bolt face ?
There is a thread from this site (I think, not sure) that shows the difference between the bolt face for the Fireball calibers and a standard .223 bolt face. The extractor is in a different position in relation to the ejector on the Fireball calibers. It's designed to help extract those short FB cases.
