Rem 700 bolt intechangeable

I have a Rem 700 action with a .473 bolt, is it possible without altering or affecting the receiver to interchange between the current bolt and a 223 bolt, ofcourse it would be switch barrel to a 223 cal., and the smaller bolt would be headspaced to the new barrel . I have done this with M70 push feed with no problems, just wondering if possible on a Rem 700. Thanks for any opinion.

On my last build had that done .473 & .532 (mag) for switch barrel ,so yes..~Danny

As long as the new bolt is headspaced to the new barrel, your not going to have any problems at all...
