Rem 700 BDL

Howdy again,
I posted here a week or so ago asking about the savage and Stevens actions. as it turns out, i have a Rem 700 BDL short action that i can sacrifice to build a 6 BR or 6.5x47 Lapua. My question is this, is it necessary to blueprint an action for accuracy in the Remington's, or can i just buy a good barrel and trigger and get by with that. i probably won't be shooting any matches, just paper and steel at 100 to 5 or 600 yards. just looking for some op pinions from more experienced people.

Go Remington: Since its going to be in parts already have the face of the action trued and the bolt lugs lapped. Thats all that should be necessary for a casual shooter or an exceptionally good varmint rifle. You will feel better about it.
