Rem 700 ADL long action custom question

Guys,
I just got a nice Rem 700 ADL Long Action, 30-06 bolt face today.

I "think" I want to have it built into a Rem 6mm AI with a fairly heavy 28 to 30 inch barrel, and maybe a laminated thumbhole Richards Microfit target stock. I don't necessarily plan to shoot in competition, but who knows???????

Help me out here---I don't want to mess this up!!

The 6mm AI is a sure enough good one to do on your long action, but I would rethink the Micro fit stock unless your real handy with woodworking.
Joel Russo will do you one that needs nothing done to it but installing the barreled action, after applying the finish of choice to it.
While your thinking, think about the new 6.6.5x47 Lapua that will do what the 6mmAI will do with less powder.....
