rem 700 6x47

[high primer]

my dad passed away in 94, I have his rem model 700 stamped 6x47, received a rock crusher reloader for Christmas, I have some empty casing that are 222 rem mag, I want to reload and looking for some info on dies, I didn't get his dies, I have a ammo box with powder type seating depth, so is this a 6mm bullet? thanks for any help.

The 6x47 Remington (.222 Rem Mag necked up to 6mm) was developed for the sporter class (6mm minimum bore diameter) in short-range benchrest before the PPC chamberings rose to dominance. Be sure to check the chamber neck diameter -- it may be tight and require case necks to be turned.
