Wondering about factory deer hunting ammo for a Rem 700 308 SS Mountain rifle. Anyone found any that shoots decent?

buy a few boxes and try them. Your rifle will tell you

I agree with hunter. I'd try some common 150 gr stuff first , like the Rem core lokt, Federal fusion, and Hornady whitetail. You should find something suitable there. All are reasonably priced,will smash deer, and will likely be found anywhere that sells ammo.
