Rem 700 300 RUM

If this topic has been discussed before or is in the wrong place -oops...
(1) Is the RUM considered a long action or is the ultramag its own classification?
(2) Will the Rem 700 Sendero accept an O.E.M. magazine or does the stock need modification?
(3) What magazine will work with the ultramag cartridge?
(4) Will the TAC 21 Chassis work with the RUM?

All comments and thoughts well received, trying to get enough info/combined experience from others to make an informed decision on whether to put money into a chassis system or modify existing stock to accept a magazine.
Thanks...

The ultramag is a long action cartridge. Remington cuts different feed rails in the action for the cartridge, but it is the same length as a "std" mag action.
I have no idea what you mean by an OEM magazine. Name a brand and model.
The 300 RUM won't fit in the .338 Lapua CIP mags as the shoulder is longer. The .338 RUM will fit and works perfectly.
