Rem. 40 x, whats it worth?

My neighbor saw a bench gun for sale locally, and said it is on a 40 X action. The action is probably worth 4 to 5 hundred correct?

I would say the 40x is worth about $400 + or - the 40xbr about $600.
Both came from the custom shop. GerryM
