I have a 2506 can i rechamber it to a 220 swift the 2506 is rem 700 action

You can re-barrel it with a 220Swift chambered barrel. RG

The action length and the bolt face are the factors that determine the first steps in selecting your alternate bbls. If you change the bolt face, then a few more doors within that action length open up too.

I'm sure you were just typing too fast since it is clear that you can't make a 25 into a 22, so you are into a new bbl to get back to 220 Swift.
