Rem 221 FB brass

Nosler is also making their own 221FB brass now here in Orygun. Other than being trimmed too short by .010", it has good weight variation and consistency. A mite cheaper than Lapua (my fav for making 20VT!).

I've got over 800 pieces of R-P 221FB brass formed to VT and left as FB purchased years ago, but with Lapua and Nosler also now available, why dink about with R-P any more?

It is quite a bit cheaper when you’re buying many hundreds at a time, and I can’t shoot good enough to see a difference in the brass.

No argument regarding the cost of R-P compared to Lapua. All my R-P brass was laid in years prior to the release of both Lapua and Nosler. In total for the different rifles I use it in, I've got over 2K cases, all loaded for 20VT and 221FB.

The interesting thing is (at least to me), some of the very smallest groups I've shot with these rifles has been with the "lesser" R-P brass. So much for expensive being so much "better".......
