Reloder 26 availability

jthor

USAF Shooting Team
Anyone heard anything new on Reloder 26 availability? I have been looking for some since October of 2018 and have yet to run into any on any major distributor or local shop. My 6.5 PRC just got finished being built by my gunsmith and I would love to start load development as soon as I get back stateside late this summer.

3rd Generation Shooting Supply might still have some. I found a pawn shop that had quite a bit but the owner was jacking up the price and limiting sales to 1 lb per person...:confused: We've been scouring the country trying to put together enough to finish out the reloading we have to get done. I've found a few private parties who were ready to unload some larger volumes that they had purchased and no longer needed. Other than that it's catch as catch can.:(

It’s been extremely frustrating trying to find their powder. Hodgdon has droughts at times with their powders, but not this bad. Literally cannot find the powder anywhere.

I have 3 unopened kegs and 1 with about 1lb gone I would sell you. I’m in northern Nevada; if you’re within a reasonable distance we could figure out a way to get them to you.

Your only 5 hours away dont tempt me.
It would be worth the drive even for 1 keg.
Come over through Lassen, home through Tahoe.

I won’t be back stateside until late August :/

let me know, my folks live a short drive outside Yreka. I make the trek every now and again and I’m due for a visit...

no worries, I can stash a keg for you for when you get back. Anywhere in most of CA., NV, and southern Oregon is faily reasonable. Not sure that’s withing your home radius or not.

I was stationed in Vandenberg until 3 years ago. Nowadays I'm in Colorado. Thanks for the offer though!

What is the weight of an empty 8 lb. container? I know I haven't used much of mine after scoring some RE-23, so I might as well get rid of it.

Looking for a keg 8# of 26. Anyone hot a source w inventory?

Enjoy the hunt!;)

It was out for quite a while then a supply came in and the hoarders made short work of that. Now I've 'heard' we might see some mid-year or fall of 2020. I can't substantiate this but that's the skinny being thrown about. I've not seen any on the big distributor's websites or any from private parties. Sometimes folks stumble onto a couple pounds at local stores but that's really hit or miss.

Best of Luck!:)
