Reloading room setup

So my wife and I are in the process of buying our first house and I will actually have my own room for reloading. As of now I have a small bench that is in the garage that doubles as reloading and gunwork ect. Now with the new house I will have about a 15x8 room to work with. There is a centered window on one wall and other than that it is sheetrocked, but unfinished. I will have unlimited options available for storage and benchtop, and am looking for input and or pics to what others have, to get fresh ideas on how I should do my storage.

I am considering putting in some cabinets, but would rather have open access to everything. We have no kids so I don't have to worry about keeping things sealed off. What do ya'll think? What do you have, what would you change?

There was this very topic on benchrest.com just a couple of weeks ago.
I don't know who the room belonged to but the place was a dream for a gun nut.
Check there, or if you send me your email address I can send the pics to you.

Wow, what a setup. I don't think mine will be that nice any time soon, but its something to shoot for. I'm thinking about cabinets on top with lighting inderneath, because you can never have too much lighting). Haven't decided on how exactly i'm going to do it. I will probably try to find a set of kitchen cabinets from a remodeler maybe? Use them and go from there. I think I will end up having a mix of open and closed spaces.

Man, that set-up is way too neat for me. My lathe would throw chips all over that carpet and make a real mess. I am way too lazy/sloppy for something that nice.

Give me a concrete floor and room for a lathe and mill, I will be happy.

holy cow, talk about some deeeeeep pockets. i would consider those mounts alone a small fortune, let alone the cost for the for jst hunt.

very nice, very nice, i like it. it puts my little corner to shame severly. if you ever need a roomate don't hesitate to give me a call. talk about a room w/ a view, beautiful country.

Still work in progress, everything is modular and not permanently attached to the room. Benches, roll cabinets, and boxes are available from Sams Club. Don't like a messy work area so plenty of storage was required to keep everything in its place. Loaders are mounted on plates that fasten to a rail system.....can easily change out loaders in seconds. Reduces the amount of room necessary for permanently bolted equipment and accessories. Not finished yet, walls will get a ceramic tile treatment. Room also features central vac, compressed air lines, gun rack, storage, storage, and more storage.

Rembrant-Thats an awesome setup. Its much more in line with what I am thinking for myself. Thanks to all the others that have put up pics for me to enjoy. We found out its a 100% go for the house and we close in late Oct. Other than the fact it screws up my hunting, yay! I'm on a budget so I've been watching craigslist and a couple other free site's for cabinets, I can always put up matching doors later. Thanks to all, and I still am looking for other good ideas!

There's a thread on 'The High Road' site that's about 50 pages of guys posting pics of bench setups... I got some good ideas while scrolling through that thread.

I'm not a member, and I was able to view it. Some pictures that were posted had a link, when you click on the link you are required to log in. I skipped all that and just looked at the pictures that were loaded within the thread.... there are plenty of pictures in there.
