I don't see that there is any advantage of the Summit press over the Lee Classic Cast. It costs about 50% more at Midway. The Classic Cast is made in the USA, and I believe the newer RCBS stuff comes from China.

Here is a link to the site. https://www.tacticalwholesalers.com/Hornady-LNL-Iron-Press-Loader-wManual-Prime-85520_p_147519.htmlI decided on a different press, a Hornady lock and load, i just purchased the bare press at a freat deal of 200.00. And a set of die adaoters for 14. That way as money comes availible i can add on to it. Looks very sturdy and was on special at a place called the Tacticle Wharehouse.
I canceled the one press. And I think highly of your opinions and what i have read and ordered a Foster coax. I'll share pictures when it gets here. My fathers day present.
Now as far as needed options or extras what all do i need? I know extra springs as they fly away. And i ordered a cover and light and a roller.handle.You won't regret that decision. Your grandchildren will be using that one.

So, the Summit was one of my choices. I would think the coax would do a better job, maybe not. My big deal is space, it's limited so one press or nothing. And the coax will mot do it all, i realize that. But i do have a very old rcbs jr 2 press that is very good for other things. Hard decision.I pretty much retired my Forster Co-Ax and use my RCBS Summit instead simply because I actually obtain better run-out or concentricity with the Summit......one thing you might also want to consider is the fact that there is very limited clearance on both the Forster Co-Ax and the RCBS Summit when using dies with the larger diameter Micrometer style heads on the dies due to the design of these style of presses....
That's what I was thinking before switching to the Summit since the Co-Ax "floats" as opposed to the "fixed" system on the Summit..but I kept double checking and testing my rounds from both presses and the ones produced on the Summit had less run-out.......time will tell after my Summit gets broken in, it's still relatively new....who knows?.....good luck with whichever press you decide on...I would think the coax would do a better job
Well the deal on that press went sour. Not in stock for up to 30 days. Now looking again.
Graf and Sons show 5 in stock and on sale (@ 3:04 today) ....and their shipping on most things is only $7.95

If you don't mind the wait, Optics Planet has great prices on the Co-Ax and free shipping...and there are always 5 to 10 % discount codes floating around off the web
Hey, i think the lee classic turret is great for pistol, its solid and not to pricey.i leave mine setup for 45 acp all the time.for necked rifle reloading id think a redding turret would be ideal,if you have more than one caliber to reload additional heads are available.redding is quality but not cheapHi, im trying to pick out a new press. Up for my choice so far are the lyman t mag or a Lee turret. From all that i have read so far it sounds like the Lee may be a higher quality.
Are any of you using one of these models?
Thanks
