Reloading press?

Fellow reloaders.
It seams like I´ll be able to buy a reloading press from the US, about half the price compared to Sweden, but I´m not really sure what to choose.
For the moment I use a RCBS Rock Chucker, a great press but is there something better out there? I have borrowed this press so therefor I need a new one.
I want the new one to be a single stage one but apart from that I´m blank. RCBS, Lyman, Forster, Redding or perhaps something else I don´t know of.
Normally the shipping costs are a bit high for things as heavy as this but this time I have a friend who will move from the US back home to Sweden and he has a large container that I can buy some space in.
Another thing I`ve thought of is a shooting rest, these to are a bit pricy to ship so if someone has one laying around at home, or know of someone who is about to sell, please let me know, because this is a once in a lifetime chans for me to buy some really good gear for a fair price.
I´m sure there will be other questions further on, but that´s all for now.

The Redding Boss press is a good solid single stage that is versatile and of good quality. I have one and I cannot fault it.

Don't overlook the Dillon AT-500. They don't advertise it anymore but they still have them. Nice feature of these presses is you remove the tol head and replace it with another one already setup for other dies. They are consistent and straight. Most important part of the press is if the ram is inlign with the die. I have seen alot of the newer RCBS Presses run as much as .010 out of paralell with the die. Nice feature on the Dillon is the die block floats and so does the case in the case holder, This in turn allows for a more concentric loaded rnd. I have the AT-5000 and size and load my rnds from this press and the most bulet runout I have ever seen was .001 on a factory case and .0004 on my match cases with most falling into .0002-"0" runout

Thank you so far Gents.

James
Where is the proper place to buy Dillon presses/stuff in the States?

Don´t forget to tell me if you have, or know of, a good shooting rest for sale.

Rolf,

Check with www.sinclairintl.com. Everything they sell is first rate, and much of it at competitve prices. They have a wide selection of rests, their market is largely benchrest shooters). There is a new lightweight model,6 lbs.) that is very economical.

I like Redding equipment. For a one-time opportunity, their turret press is very impressive if the convenience is of value to you. The Dillon can be convenient, but tends to be purpose oriented. Also, their powder dispenser is not of the capability of the Redding measures, which are generally considered to be the best of the production powder throwers. If I recall, the AT500 in standard form has a powder funnel rather than the measure.

You can order Dillon equipment directly from them at www.bluepress.com.

Sinclair offers both Redding and Forster equipment. www.midsouthshooters.com has a very good price on the Forster press, and is generally a little better on most items.

Hope this info is helpful.
