Reloading press for traveling?

Lee hand press is pretty useful and packs away very easily. Can FLS 284 cases pretty easily then prime with the adapter.

The way I see it the reason for the press is your going to use it for resizing cases .
Co Ax is easy to mount don't need shell holders or priming tool. Larry

Lee. One thing when resizing is to measure just how it relates to your main press. This one is .010" tighter for sizing so I had to create a shim to use or you have to adjust the sizing die. For seating experiments, like in this picture, it's not an issue as I am changing the seating die and measuring anyhow.

RCBS Summet press using matching RCBS plate screwed to an 8" long 2x6, then use two c clamps to clamp 2x6 to a table.

I use the Harrell's compact press make sure you get the MAG length if you want to seat bullets.
If you are loading short rifle case 6.5 creed, 308 win. and stuff like that which is most of what I load it's all I ever use even at home..I just clamp it to the kitchen table. I have used it at several ranges just clamp it to a table but you wont clamp it on a concreate bench,it wont open that far.But yea it is really all I use anymore. I have not loaded on my rock chucker for a long time.

rcbs partner press is good if you float the bad stuf out of the ram with oil
and if your dies fit your chamber. I am not a expert.

I have a Hood press that does 7/8 x 14 dies as well as Wilson in-line dies. It saves on taking two presses to the range plus it has a very low profile for carrying. Harrell's has a version of the press as well; it is their combo press.

In general I'm looking for a press to size brass. For seating I can still carry my arbor press.

I like the compact size of the Harrell's, I like the price of the RCBS, not sure the Harrell's compact size is worth $20 or so extra.

The direct link to the site selling these presses is www.buchananprecisionmachine.com Go here to see pictures of the tool and a link to a youtube video showing it in action.

If you haven't seen this tool you are missing out as it is the finest Portable Reloading Press ever made.

It will F/L Resize virtually any brass case and perform all other reloading operations. It is a Precision Straitline Reloading Press made of CNC Machined Aluminum and with the best hardware there is.

I have two of the Coax presses. Work great. This has caused my 12 station Hollywood Universal to become idle for several years; except for pulling bullets with a RCBS collet pullet. Carl L.
