IME. After 6 reloads there is no nickel left on the necks. The fingers on the lee collet die didn’t do it any good but that was only the first one or two reloads. The bare neck matches the hornady fl die I use now. It’s beginning to flake off the shoulders from the 2 thou bump. Inside the case mouth has to be smoothed up with emery cloth. The nickel plating leaves a rough edge that scratches seated bullets. A deburring tool doesn’t work, causes flaking inside the neck. I doubt all that nickel did my new custom barrel any good.
