Reloading for a Browning semi-auto in 7mm Rem Mag.

I have a Browing semi auto in 7mm Rem Mag. that I used to use for deer hunting... Havent used it for a while but want to work up some loads for it to give it some love. Going to take it with on a Pdog hunt for long range shots.

Back when i shot it often for deer I seemed to have issues with it ejecting cases... I didn't reload at the time but a friend of my dad did all his reloading, He worked up several loads for it, mild to hot and I also would buy factory ammo and it would still stovepipe cases at the most inopportune time. Any pointers on why it would do this... seems to be more rifle related rather than ammo, but would like to figure it out. I read somewhere that Brownings may require small base dies which i don't have. Any help or insight would be appreciated... Thanks_DRG

The "gun Guy" i will call him... had the gun to check it over and work up the loads... don't know what he tried with it. I will break it down and go throught it.

His note card with load data for this gun was: 154gr bullet with 69 grs of 4831 (:o a tad hot maybe)
