Reloading Dies for 6mmbr?

I need recommendations regarding reloading dies for a new 6mmbr build. I have reloaded for hunting for awhile, but I am new to percision shooting. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks.

Hunter, Just my .02 worth. The Redding type S bushing dies are hard to beat. For a seater die, I would prefer the Redding Comp. or the Forster Ultra seater. I own both and they are great quality. Of course there are the Wilson and Harrells if you want to check those out. Hope this helps. Bill

Mike: To add two more cents to Billmos' post: ditto on the Redding Type 'S' Full Length bushing die. Measure your loaded round neck dia., subtract .002' and .003' from that dimension and get those 2 sized bushings. I'm also a fan of the Forster Ultra micrometer benchrest seater.

Hunter,
I use the redding type-s bushing die that billmo speaks of & they work well for me. I have a .272 neck & use a .268 or .269 bushing depending on the tension I want. I didn't go with the FL & got the body die instead. I find I can shoot about 3 times before I have to bump the shoulder. I also bought the micrometer seater die with the set & it makes seating easier & more precise. I also followed the advice of some on this site & took the expander ball out & things are working good.

I have a Forster Micrometer Seeter, Redding Comp Seater, and Wilson inline seater with Micrometer top. The Wilson is my favorite. I like the 'feel' of seating the bullet, and I find I get less base to ogive variance with this seater.

My favorite sizing die is a Forster with the neck honed to give just the right neck tension on no-turn brass. This produces very straight brass. The downside is that you don't have any adjustment over neck tension.

Thanks for the help. It seems the Redding Type 'S' is the most popular, so looks like I'll be purchasing those. Too many choices, not enough time and money. Thanks again.
