OMG!!!! You guys are a life saver. I've been scouring forever to find H4350. Signed up for notifications to this thread this morning and saw the notification for Varget so thought I would go and get some of that and to my surprise they had H4350.....

4350 has just about been readily available lately. I see it 3-4 times a week. Keep watching and you can get more.

Thanks Clancy, that's great to hear. I could definitely use more but haven't seen any in any stores in WI lately or online honestly except GunBroker for 80 to 90 a pound!!!!!

Send me a PM and I’ll text you when I see it if you want. Not a problem.

I'm disciplining myself to not buy primers until they are available in 5K lots.

This is where I'm at as well. It's a hard habit to break ... it's that feeling of 'I need to get it while I can' ... but I am sufficiently stocked, I don't to not buy more right now.

A few weeks ago they let me order 2K and then cancelled 1K. I wouldn't have bought it if I was paying for hazmat and shipping on 1K.

Been using the 400's in an AR for 24 years shooting across the course for my 200 yard ammo, just medium loads. This brass gets shot until the neck splits or the primer pocket gives up or lost in the grass. Probably 15-20 loading. 300 and 600 stuff, warmer loads, get Wolf, CCI 450's, or Rem 7 1/2. But you need to check the 7 1/2's . They switched to a 2 legged version 10 or so years back. They would blow out at the side-back radius, a pinhole. Burned a couple bolts thinking my load was too hot. Worked fine with the 200 load. My "bad" lot number was 330. Don't know if there were other problem lots. My newer lots are back too the 3 legged, but haven't tried then yet in the warmer loads. With the current shortage, I'm good for a year or so before having to using them.

And as mentioned the thinner cupped 400s should not be your first choice for warm loads in the AR. I did test a couple 400's vs 450s using the same load last year. 200 yard load, both looked the same. My warmer, not hot load, 300 load produced a much flatter primer face with the 400 than the 450.
