Prices aren't going to drop magically once things return to "Normal"... This is Normal now. And prices don't magically drop by half because folks stop panic buying. That isn't how capitalism works. How capitalism works is, once a retailer/ or manufacturer determines what the larger populace is willing to pay, the price is Set. The price may decrease slightly, but will never go back down to it's original set point. Does anyone here remember when gas was .99 cents per gallon? It was that price for years. Did gasoline prices magically drop back to .99 cents per gallon? No, once it was determined that gasoline could be sold for $1.29+ per gallon, that is where the price remained.
