Reloading and bullet weights

I want to reload for the .480 Ruger. Revolver is a Super Redhawk 7.5 in barrel. I have a bunch of Oregon Trail 350 grain WNFP bullets (.476) but I can’t seem to find load data for the powders I have available (Enforcer, Titegroup, H-110) for 350 grain bullets. I am pretty new to reloading and though I can find data for 355 grain cast bullets I am wondering if I can rely on that data?

I see you found hodgdon load data for the the 355gr you can use their load data for your 350 gr. bullet and be ok don't reduce h-110 below the starting load they give

I am looking at these recipes:

Ramshot Enforcer
355 grain bullet 21.9 grains (min) 1299 fps 24.3 grains (max) 1443 fps

Titegroup
355 grain bullet 9.7 grains (min) 1101 fps 10.8 grains (max) 1172 fps

H110
355 grain bullet 26.0 grains (min) 1415 fps 27.0 grains (max) 1464 fps

I think I will try Titegroup first and use 10.25 grains as a starting point (right in the middle).
I will use Winchester Large Pistol primers. I am only looking for 1100-1200 fps to start with and the other powders create loads faster than that.

I appreciate the warning to not go below minimum with H110.

I think I will try Titegroup first and use 23.0 grains as a starting point (right in the middle).

Do you mean Ramshot Enforcer?

I typed too fast -- I did mean Titegroup but I meant 10.25 grains (right in the middle). Thank you for catching my error. I will edit the above post to correct that.

It took me 5 hours to get the Dillon 550C set up for .480 Ruger because I have not done this stuff for years. Made lots of mistakes but also learned a lot. I shot a completed round (355 grain/WLP/Titegroup 10.2 grn) and it worked fine.

Hi Tonopah, what is your intended seating depth of your bullet (or alternatively what i the bullet length and your intended OAL)? The empty case volume of the the .480 Ruger is 44.20 Grains of Water, correct? Your seating depth determines the effective combustion chamber volume. Only with knowing this can someone tell you if your loads work / are dangorous.

I had the same problem. I went a different route this time. I was low on 40 S&W. I bypassed using the progressive and used my single stage Rockchucker. It took me about 5 hours to make 500 complete rounds, one step at a time, and I still have about 400 prepped cases in a box.
