Reloading 1,100 300 WSM rounds

For the last 4 1/2 days I have been processing 300 WSM brass. Starting with full length size and recapping. Then reamed out the primer pockets. Then trimmed to minimum case length and inside and outside chamfer. Followed up with vibratory cleaning. Then reprinted the cases. Then with the aid of a RCBS Chargemaster I measured out 64.0 grains of Hybred-100 V powder in each case. Seated the 175 Barnes LRX bullets. Checked every loaded round with a Wilson case Gauge. Then sorted the rounds by brass type and boxed them.Sure glad it is done.

Feel your pain i decided to reload for 4 people and 1 prairie dog trip

Wow. Not on my best week could I squeeze all that into four days. Assuming this is for one rifle, how will you deal with throat erosion over the life of 1100 rounds of magnum ammunition?
Could you define 'reprinting' cases?

I loaded up over 1000 rounds of various cases for dog hunting. It, too took me 4 1/2 days.....but the days weren't in a row, or even in the same 30 day period!!

In 3 years of competition and shooting 1000 rounds the WSM throat only moves a few thousandth. Matt

I think a lot of us here that have been pumping the lever hard for the last month can appreciate your post. Hybrid is what I loaded also.

Hard to believe but that is awesome. My .308 Palma erodes more than that...
I have shot 4 different different Broughton barrels over the last 8 years. 2 lights and two heavies. In 1000 rounds they moved roughly .003 to .005. My buddies Krieger moved about twice that. That is no where near the movement of a 308 Baer. I had them move as much as .025 in 50 rounds. I shot a Broughton in 2006 and it moved .035 in 300 rounds. Also had bad firecracking way ahead of the throat. The WSM at 1000 rounds has very little cracking and not near as far out the barrel. Matt
