reloader 15 vs reloader 16 ?

Few years ago I shot 190 grain bullets in factory 308 with RL17 which made the rifle come alive with best accuracy and low ES & SD digits.
This project ended when I accidentally loaded RL7 and blew up the rifle.

Happens to the best of us. Play with explosives long enough and eventually they will bite you. Hard lesson learned. Hope you escaped unscathed and in good health.

I believe Alliant missed the call when they # these powders. In any instance that I used RL-23 it was always faster that RL-22 and RL-26 was faster that RL-25. It would seem that they should have been # 21and 24. JMO

People tend to think RL26 is faster than RL25 because it produces faster velocities than RL25 with the same amount or less.

In my case RL-26 always got to max pressure with less grs than RL-25. On the average of 2-3 grs.
