Relieving H-S stock for loading port

I'm building a live varmint/pronghorn 6BR using one of Jerry Stiller's new PredatorV actions,RBLP). I have an H-S stock inletted for a regular RBRP Rem 700. I'll need to relieve the left side of the stock for the left loading port and the PredatorV bolt release. How can I make a neat job of this, preferably without having to use a milling machine?

I don't plan to fill in the existing loading port relief on the right side, but if there is an easy way to do that I might consider it. Thanks!

Thanks for all the advice. I ended up putting a piece of masking tape inside the stock, scribing the outline of the left loading port on the tape, making the relief cutout with a file, and finishing with sandpaper. The light line visible on the relief cut is a piece of fiberglass or Kevlar cloth exposed by the cut.

It turns out that Jerry Stiller puts the bolt release above the stock line, so no need to cut a relief for that.
