Regretting Nothing

Getting a rifle from ODCR leads you to think...Not will the rifle shoot but, how great will it shoot!
Yes Sir, while waiting and trying to be patient as best you can always thinking about that tight one hole group you gonna shoot with it. Never a doubt it's gonna do it. My last build with him (Rem 40X 260AI) held up his reputation very nicely I'd say. 5 shot @ 100 yds. 140 gr. Nosler BT.

I should probably give a true first mention.

Two older brothers, Gary & Timmy - I supplied some funds for gas, 22 shells, and a bottle of Coca Cola for our gravel road trips of shooting prairie dogs. "Tommy, you missed. Did you line up the sights? You must not have....you missed"

That Nylon 66 was longer than I was tall! Only load one round at a time.

The Model 67 Winchester that gramps gave me. It started this obsession.

686 SW
Model 42 Win
1100 Special field
Every 40x
Jewell triggers
Hart barrels
T7
RCBS Jr press that started the reloading game
Mec 650
Rem 870 Wingmasters
25 cal Marauder
222. Did I mention 222? Yep, the 222
Redding dies

Kel Tec CMR 30. It doesn't leave the side pocket on my pickup door. I've had to get used to actually having a gun with me at all times. I buzzed past one of our fields last winter and saw a fox trotting across and thought "if I only had a rifle": slams on the brakes and realized "wait, I do!"

The Lee loader hammer die set for my 30-30 back in the mid-70s that I got for Christmas from my mother and father, it’s what got me started! Yeah I have all the fancy pants stuff that has been described in earlier posts but you know I still use those little plastic scoops that came with every lee loader that I ended up buying after that first set I got. Somethings in life just keep you grounded.

Stolle Panda in an old what looks to be Lee Six stock. In LV or HV trim, that gun is a hammer.
NF 42 fixed power scope.
Arbor Press
Custom bullets
Harrell's BR powder measure
PMA neck turners
K&M chamfer tool
Forster Blue Ribbon Funnel
Chippewa Rifle Club membership...those BR guys have forgotten more than I've ever known, and they share.

First was a used 1000 yard BR Heavy gun.
Second was a NIGHTFORCE BR 8X32 SCOPE
Third was 2 BAT actions
Then I had a light and heavy gun built
4th was A Denver scale
5th was a Sartorious Entris 64
6th was Adams auto trickler and powder throw
There were lots of other things over the years but these were the major ones and the ones that actually helped me the most and got me started in 1000 yard BR. Matt
