Bonanza... er Forster... Co-Ax-Just because it works so well.

Oehler 35-Still working flawlessly after 30+ years. Where the rubber meets the road. No more guessing... "Well the book says it should be 2900fps but it's not even on the target at 300 yds."

A good solid front rest & rear bag-The Hoppe's orange one was a step up from the home made one me & a buddy rigged up at work, but an old Hart H-100 is at least 3 steps up from the Hoppe's for everyday sporting rifle use. I need to fill the front bag a little fuller though.

One piece cleaning rods & correct size bore brushes for each bore diameter I shoot, along with new & improved solvents for the tough jobs. I still use Shooter's Choice & Kroil for everyday cleaning.

A set of Davidson SDCs (seating depth checkers) -Predate the Stoneypoint/Hornady base to ogive gauge by a decade or more. Blue or black Sharpie helps here too.

A set of John Bunch's case forming dies-I can neck 50BMG to 17 cal. & move shoulders on anything in between to anywhere in between. Mostly a fun diversion with scrap brass nowadays.

Imperial sizing die wax-I guess Redding sells it now for an exorbitant price.

Shilen & Douglas barrels are so much easier to get shooting well & keep clean than Win/Rem/Rug factory barrels.

Handloader & Precision Shooting magazines from the 80s til late 90s were useful tools before the internet. Who wants to read Bob Milek when you can read Bob Hagel?

Along with it , the MEC sizemaster shotgun reloader which has allowed me to keep shooting with my range friends during these crappy times we have all been living through...

I'd have to agree with u there. As good a job as ODCR (WSMNUT) does on his custom builds I probably will never purchase another factory (shelf) rifle. The cost as opposed to the quality of the rifle is simply not comparable when you sit down at the bench to shoot. And the workmanship is certainly superior from top to bottom.

Getting a rifle from ODCR leads you to think...Not will the rifle shoot but, how great will it shoot!

It was the early 90's and I was recently married. I had a good job but every spare penny was going into buying a house fund. I wanted an RCBS Rockchucker but the Lee Anniversary kit became available and I bought one.

I thought I was going to save money, instead I just shot 2-3 times more and my shooting improved.

Since then it has been an expensive road but well worth it...Forster Coax, RCBS Chargemaster, Lapua brass, Berger bullets...all for those little ragged holes in paper and sounds of steel ringing at long ranges
