Redfield X-Tube?

Does anyone here have any experience with one? I recently bought one and have asked around on several forums and so far no one seems to know anything about them. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

This is used with an Olympic or International rear sight. I is suposed to aid you in getting consistent eye alignment with the rear sight aperature. It also acts as a shade and eliminates light from affecting sight picture. I have one almost new in the box never used it

I have the x-tube installed on one of my 52D's with a international mk8 sight. It's adjusted to where the front sight is centered in the view. I'm guessing thats how it's supposed to be set up.

I have a couple of them but haven't had one on a rifle in quite awhile. Maybe I'll do that again just to duat them off. I found that in my experience they are sensative to anything but careful handling during transport. Next time you want to shoot the rifle it isn't shooting where it was the last time out. Let us know how yours works out for you.

I shot the rifle yesterday, fist sized groups at 50 yards. Needless to say I was unimpressed, very inconsistent.
