Redfield sights bottoming out

Any help would be appreciated. I bought a pair of redfield international sights for my Winchester 52D. The rear sight is as low as the knobs will turn and it is still 6 or so inches high at 50 yards. Is there a course adjustment screw that you use before the elevation dial?

I guess I could have my gunsmith make a shim for the front sight but I hope I'm just overlooking something. I hope that the holes in my side mount are lined up.

Any help?

What bases are on your rifle? One of mine has a .670 rear and a .325 front. The other has a .490 rear and a .275 front. No issues with either one at 50 yards.

If you need a taller front base I have a variety sitting in my shop taking up space. Measure the height of the one you have now and PM me. I can set you up no charge.
