Redfield scopes

Does anyone know who the parent company is ? The website says they are American made which is nice to hear. Anything on price range ?

The new Redfield scopes have,to the best of my knowledge) been pulled off the market by Redfield's parent company Meade.

Their ad copy sounds like they have a winner, but they were only available for a very short time last year, then disappeared from the marketplace. I tried to get one, then tried to contact Meade to find out why they were no longer available, but no information was forthcoming.

These scopes showed up in Midway's catalog and website, but if you try ordering one you'll get an "unavailable" as to their order status. They also appeared on SWFA's website last year, but are no longer even listed.

I'm not into this to knock Meade, but it appears to me that the company is going through some difficulties with their new riflescope line. I wish them more success in the future.
