I'm currently running a Lee Classic Turret for my precision loads, with SDs around 7. My only gripe with the Lee press is how much force I have to use to resize cases, and the occasionally having to re-adjust the sizing die. (Time consuming and cramps when loading 300+ rounds.)
I see midsouth and midway has the T-7 on sale at $259 and was wondering if this was the time to upgrade?
If not that, I was looking at the Mec Marksman with LnL die since many have said the movements are so smooth. (Which I am assuming also means a lighter resizing force.)
Anyone have any experience with both presses? I'm just wondering if it would be worth the money to upgrade if I already have decent results.
Notes:
- I was considering a Forster Co-Ax but I was worried I'd run into issues with a bullet puller/Instant indicator so I put that aside.
- Space is an issue. The lady let's me do whatever so long as there aren't any parts/tools floating around with no "home" stacked boxes.
- Dies are Redding competition dies, and scale is a pharmaceutical scale I got factory refurbished for a steal.
- I lube with the Redding sizing wax
