Redding neck die 284 win question

So I'm pretty sure I'm right but someone just confirm before I drop $130 on a die. You can use a 6.5-284 die with a 7mm busing like a .307, for a 284 Winchester, correct? No one makes a 284 bushing neck die that I can find.

Here is some more info on the Die. I use the Type S for both my .284 and my 6mmBr.

And no, you can't. The shoulder on the bushing die would be 6.5mm size.

They have been opened up to take a bigger neck size, no problem doing that...

Yes, but I believe the OP meant just drop in the bigger bushing. Others told him the 284 was available but didn't specifically let him know that what he was proposing wouldn't work. Being an outside the box thinker myself, I've been there myself.

It sure will not work without opening it up, and you would need a carbide cutter to do it.....
