284 questions?

Switching over to 284 Win from 6.5x284. Need a little advice on parts needed to switch the Redding die set for use with 284. My understanding is that I need a 284 sliding sleeve and seating stem. Are their any other parts required? It's a 6.5x284 Comp Die set. Also, what size bushings are recommended for neck sizing? I am planning to neck up Lapua 6.5 brass and use the 180gr. Berger VLD. Thanks in advance.

I did not convert a seater die but I did have a Redding bushing type resizer converted from 6.5mm to 7mm. In my case, it was necessary to ream out the hole at the top of the shoulder a bit to clear the neck. I use a .310 loaded neck with a .313 chamber neck and this was necessary so I would assume that it would also be required if you used a no turn neck. My gunsmith said that he had to use a carbide reamer because the sizing dies have been hardened. I don't like a lot of neck tension so I normally use a .308 or 309 bushing with that did, mostly the .309.
