Redding flashhole deburring tool

I'm considering buying a Redding flashhole deburring tool, but I'm concerned about minimum case length this tool will accommodate. Will it work on 357mag/38spl or 9x19? Or will the pilot bottom out against the cutter head?

BTW dont ask why I want to deburr these cases, I'm a handgun accuracy nut

I use the lyman flash hole deburring tool. I am almost positive it would do 9mm.

I have considered the Lyman, but I would prefer a tool that use the web as a stop. The Sinclair's flat slot is not milled far enough down towards the cutter.

The RCBS flash hole deburring tool works well . You just want to remove any burrs . Just like a primer pockets uniformer , case only has to be cut once.

I use the Sinclair flash hole deburring tool on rifle cases and the flat slot on their tool not going down far enough is telling you something.

If you can't hold your handguns as steady as a Ransom rest, deburring the flash holes is a waste of time.

Email Jerry Miculek and ask him if he deburrs his flash holes.

Again the adjustment length on the Sinclair tool is telling you something.

NOTE, I go to the range when no one else is there, that way when I leave the range I know I was the best shot that day.

The stop is the sleeve around the cutting tool. The neck part is for cartridge alignment i believe as web height isnt tied to trim length and subject to head to web thickness variations
The above info provided by someone who deburrs flash holes on lc brass for AR use so you may judge its value.

I don't know if something is lost in translation, but please just tell me how short casings the Redding tool will allow and still use the pilot for alignment.

What is "Handgun distances"? At least not 7yrds. To me it's 220yrds. Why is caseprep important in rifles shooting 50-100y? And you tell me it's not in handguns shooting twice that distance? Ever heard about IHMSA and Creedmore position? Steadier than a bench rest.
