Redding Decapping rod in Whidden die

I have 3 Whdden bushing dies, I keep bending the decaping rods, all my flash holes have been uniformed. Looking at the rod from Redding it seems solid and the whidden is threaded all the way up, the rods keep bending in the same spot right where it threads into the bushing that mounts it to the die. I like the way the whidden dies perform but bending these rods is driving me crazy.

The question. Can I mount the solid Redding D Die bushing rods to the Whidden bushing dies?

If its an older model with the blued steel redding unit screwed into it then all redding stuff will go in there. If its one of the new silver units with the rubber washers the redding stuff dont fit sadly

The best solution is to call whidden. They will fix you up. Once they changed the threads the easy solutions went out the door. They have the best customer service in the die business and are eager to help

If youre handy enough make a new top plug and thread it for a newlon decapping pin. Then its bulletproof. It wont be long and theyll have to redo that new design. They stay hung up on expanders and lose sight of what it really needs.
