redding bushing size

Hi guys looking for help here I have two bushing sizes there are
0.267 and0.268 titanium My new lapue brass measur 0.266 outside
neck diameter Would i need to order a new size our would one do
0.267 For a 6mmbr blaser rifle LRS 2

what is your wall thickness?

example:

wall thickness +,bullet diameter) + wall thickness - .02

.015 + .243 + .015 = .273 - .002 = .271

How about seating bullets of choice in a 2 or 3 representative cartridges of choice, then measuring the OD of the neck. Subtract the .002 inch and 'voila', the suggested size for your bushing. The math is simpler, at least for my pea brain.

Here's another way, stick a bullet in a virgin case and measure the neck where the bullet is, then subtract what ever you want for neck tension. That will be what bushing you want.

Thanks you for all your help guys.I go it now my brass on side
measures is 0.013 thick. So bullet = 0.243 + neck 0.013 + neck
2 0.013 = 269 - 2 for bushing size = 267 bushing

Yeah, except you'll loose about a thou or so, spring back, after the brass has work hardened a bit. If you want 0.002' tension, you better get a 0.266', however a lot of people including myself, get good results with only 0.001' tension. So you may be just fine with a 0.267' bushing. I am not interested in annealing my brass at this point.
Now, if your in the market for a Redding 0.266' Ti bushing, I have a very slightly used one I sell you for $5.00 less then a new one. I think I tested 5 rounds with it.

I have a Forster FL die with .265' neck.

That is measured with a pin gauge as a go gauge.

That would correspond to a .264' bushing, the way bushings are measured, no-go.

I paid $10 + shipping both ways to Forster to do that honing done on one of their Hardinge collet lathes.
